Pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR), Bitpost informs that personal data provided during registration will be processed in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, and transparency.
Data processed
Bitpost collects exclusively the email address used to create the account.
No first name, last name, or other personally identifiable data are required.
Purpose of processing
The data are processed exclusively to:
• enable account registration and management;
• provide the peer-to-peer matching service between users;
• manage requests, communications, and any disputes between users;
• comply with legal obligations.
Methods and security
Information related to orders is encrypted.
Bitpost does not associate personal data with identifiable identities and does not retain data beyond what is necessary for the purposes of the service.
Data sharing
Data are not transferred, sold, or disclosed to third parties, except where strictly necessary for the execution of exchanges between users (e.g., shipping addresses shared exclusively between the involved parties).
Payments
Bitpost does not directly manage funds nor has autonomous access to multi-signature wallets, which are provided by third parties.
Retention
Data are retained only for the time strictly necessary to maintain the account and provide the service.
User rights
Users may exercise at any time the rights provided under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection).
